Is-sinjal għal GĦAJN TUFFIEĦA magħmul minn żewġ partijiet, is-sinjal għal GĦAJN u s-sinjal għal TUFFIEĦA. (i) Fl-ewwel parti, id waħda tieħu l-forma ta’ 1 bil-pala ta’ l-id tħares ’il ġewwa. Il-werrej imiss il-wiċċ qrib l-għajn. (ii) Fit-tieni parti, l-id tieħu l-forma ta’ 5 kkurvat, bil-pala ta’ l-id tħares ’il ġewwa ħdejn il-ħalq qisha qed iżżomm tuffieħa biex tiekolha. L-id imbagħad titla’ ftit ’l fuq u ’l barra waqt li ddur lura mill-polz qisu se tigdem it-tuffieħa.
This sign is made in two parts, the sign for EYE and the sign for APPLE. First, one hand takes the shape of 1 with the palm facing inwards. The index finger touches the face near the eye. Then, the hand takes the shape of curved 5 with the palm facing inwards near the mouth as though holding an apple to be eaten. The hand then moves up and out slightly as it turns from the wrist as though biting the apple.
